Amazon gets FCC approval, set to deploy 3,236 Project Kuiper satellites
Amazon received its final approval from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to deploy and operate a constellation of 3,236 satellites as part of Project Kuiper. "The authorization allows Project Kuiper to deliver satellite-based broadband services in the US, helping expand internet access to households and communities," said Amazon. The company is investing $10 billion in the project.
