Video app Triller sues TikTok, ByteDance over patent infringement

Video sharing app Triller has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against TikTok and its China-based parent company ByteDance in a US district court. The lawsuit pertains to a patent titled "Systems and methods for creating music videos synchronized with an audio track" and focuses on TikTok's green screen feature to make its case. Triller was granted the patent in 2017.
