24 killed, 43 injured during ISIS attack on Afghan prison

At least 21 people including prisoners, civilians, and members of security forces were killed and 43 others were wounded after the Islamic State (ISIS) attacked a prison in Afghanistan's Jalalabad, a local official said. Three ISIS militants were also killed during the fighting, he added. The assault on the prison, which housed around 2,000 prisoners, led to a mass jailbreak.
