Apple becomes world's most valuable company overtaking Saudi Aramco
Apple shares surged over 10% to a record high on Friday, helping the iPhone maker overtake Saudi Aramco to become the world's most valuable publicly listed company. Apple ended the day with a market capitalization of $1.82 trillion, compared to Aramco's $1.76 trillion. It added $172 billion in market capitalization on Friday, greater than the entire market value of Oracle.
