If we don't praise iconic players, fans assume we are antagonistic: Manjrekar

In a mail to BCCI officials, axed commentator Sanjay Manjrekar wrote, "If we aren't seen praising iconic players, fans of those players tend to assume that we are antagonistic towards the players they worship." He added, "Anyone who has followed my career as a commentator would know that I have no malicious agenda against anyone."
