India has recorded its biggest one-day rise in coronavirus cases as 57,118 people tested positive in the last 24 hours. The total cases have increased to 16,95,988 and the death toll in the country has risen to 36,511. While the number of people who have been discharged stands at 10,94,374, the number of active cases in India is 5,65,103.
