Man attacks 70-yr-old woman in Pune during theft bid, arrested

A 70-year-old woman was allegedly attacked with a knife by a man, who had earlier worked as a watchman at the apartment, during a theft bid at her house in Pune, the police said. The woman had tried to stop the man from entering her house from the balcony. Police arrested the 48-year-old man, identified as Somnath Bandu Bansode.
