Mid-air collision between 2 small planes kills 7 in US

A mid-air plane collision between two planes on Friday killed seven people in the US' Alaska, officials said. A state lawmaker who was piloting one of the aircraft was among those dead. The other plane was carrying four tourists from South Carolina, a guide from Kansas, and a pilot from Soldotna. A highway was shut down briefly due to crash debris.
