Will never allow Centre's 3-language policy in Tamil Nadu: CM on NEP

Tamil Nadu CM Edappadi K Palaniswami on Monday said he's "saddened by the three-language formula" in the National Education Policy. "Tamil Nadu will never allow the Centre's three-language policy. The state will continue with its dual-language policy (of Tamil and English)," he asserted. Earlier, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said the Centre wouldn't force any language on states.
